Introducing Me

Hi! I’m Faith.

The threads that seem to tie all of my various jobs together are writing and storytelling. I graduated from Oakland University in 2017 with a major in journalism and minor in theatre. I have found ways to mix my writing and reporting skills with my passion for arts and culture into a meaningful, long, and varied career.

I’ve worked in a busy newsroom and remotely from my dining room table. I’ve chased down stories as a student reporter and strategized with advertising experts to create a new brand. I’ve written 10 different scripts for huge commercial shoots and ran around a 110-room mansion with my iPhone for the perfect Instagram shot.

Faith Brody is based in southeast Michigan. Her hobbies include reading, going to and talking about theatre, learning about history, baking, playing with her pets, traveling, binging shows that range from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to The Crown, spending time on or near the water, and yoga.
